언론에서 흔히 나오는 말이 이스라엘과 팔레스타인 무장정파 간의 무력 충돌이라는 표현인데요, 아마도 무장정파라는 표현은 영어식 armed group을 번역해서 만들어진 말이 아닐까 싶네요 그런데 하마스를 단지 무장정파라고 하기보다는 오히려 정당이나 정치세력 아니면 그냥 팔레스타인인 조직으로 이해하는 건 어떨까 싶네요. 충돌 또는 무력충돌, 아니면 분쟁이라는 표현도 자주 등장하는데...이는 clash나 conflict 등을 번역한 것은 아닌가 싶어요. 충돌이고 분쟁인데...그냥 둘이 기분 나빠서 싸우는 게 아니고...일제 식민지 시절의 일본군과 조선인의 투쟁과 닮은 모습으로 이해하면 좋겠다 싶어요. 오랜 세월 지배하고 있던 자들과 지배 받아온 자들의 투쟁인 거지요. 저항하고 항의하고 주장하는 쪽과 억누르고 ..
